Factual Media and Information Neutrality Act

Congress must pass a Factual Media and Information Neutrality Act or a similar thing with a cooler-sounding name. This entails a standard of quality on the information presented by public figures, networks, and platforms, excluding individuals in order to protect the freedom of speech and personal liberty. On another hand, anyone who works as a journalist or a person of influence, s/he should be held to a higher standard than an average individual for that person or network would have the resources available to help them fact check information.

Journalists should be licensed, like lawyers by the Bar Association, and…

We are what we consume… Whether it’s food or information. What happened yesterday was a dark day in history. The big techs are too slow to react, the officials were too reluctant to respond, and the people were too divided to communicate.

How to fix it? How to fix America, if there’s a way to fix it.

While streaming live broadcasts of “Occupy Capitol” turned riot among all, but one, major news networks on YouTube, I wandered and laughed at the comments on Reddit in the comfort of my own home, hundreds of miles away from D.C. Today I watched…

Education has always been a topic of people’s minds in the U.S. While the U.S. higher education has consistently ranked among the top among the world, K-12, on another hand, has been constantly behind in terms of education quality and the student’s ability to produce after graduation. However, being a policy commentator as a hobby, it is in my belief that policies should not have influence in the private sector unless such a sector threatens the security, quality, and liberty of this nation.

Let it be known that I believe schooling, whether it’s public or private, should have three goals:

Almost by every “poll” we see the Dems would win by a landslide, well be damn’d (Pun intended). They failed to capture the Senate and they lost seats in the House. The blue tsunami never comes. I am no expert, who is? However, based on what I have seen and heard, I’d say the reasons are the following:

  1. Biden — Biden is a good choice, he is a solid choice, however, the move that made him THE choice by having Pete and Amy drop out abruptly left a lot of bad taste in people’s mouths. There are never-Trumpers, and there…

The United States is not doing well with COVID-19. I am not going to be political, play the blaming game, and say nothing constructive, especially because COVID-19 is a national thing… a global thing. I personally think we are gambling with all that talk about vaccines and our policymakers should not bet on an ETA of a working vaccine but develop policies to combat this virus. Assuming there is no truly functional vaccine and we will continue with all the basic stuff like mass testing, here are what I would do after learning from the epidemiologist…

TL;DR

I have been seeing ads from so many companies reminding me to vote and how voting is a right. I agree and I share these messages on my social media as well, from telling them to #vote, showing them how to register to vote, and how to submit Mail-in-Ballot without risking “fraud.”

The thing is, many people don’t vote in America because they don’t care enough, they still don’t think voting would affect them personally. So how could we ask them to vote? MATERIALISM, cough* cough* I mean #Discounts. I know but everything in America needs an incentive…

The technology…

With the recent turn of events and wave of videos revealing the truths among Police Brutality. I figure I would jump on the idea train and share some of my thoughts. While I am not a police officer and I have not consulted any officers before I typed this piece, I am willing to change my stand if I do hear compelling arguments to any of my following points. From learning about many of the systematic problems among police reform, we would see that many problems stemmed from the Police Union.

And I would call for more if I have time to understand more about other candidates’ policies.

Pete seems nice, Amy seems reasonable, Biden is seasoned. If you don’t like Warren, what about Bernie and/or Yang. Seeing how Iowa unfold made me wonder again… Why aren’t people using Ranked Choice? Especially in a primary. I like Yang’s idea but I don’t think he is electable in comparison to Bernie, Warren, or Biden for example. Why can’t I rank my personal favorite as number one and then let me logics and concerns creep in later? Wouldn’t that give the field a…
